In light of the evolving conditions surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak, I wanted to write with the reassurance that all of us here at Queens Square Wealth Management are here to advise and support you.
Understandably; we also have a responsibility to ensure the health and well-being of our employees that assist our Advisers to provide our financial planning service to you. As such as of Tuesday 24th March we have adopted a home-working scheme - the doors maybe closed to our office in Corsham High Street, but it’s very much business as usual.
There will be a presence in our office daily to ensure letters are promptly dealt with and we will be re-routing our 01225 742644 and 01249 701043 numbers to one of our support staff who will be operating a “call back service”; so please bear with us and do not hesitate to call us back if you do not get an answer straight away – we will be doing our best to respond to all telephone enquiries as soon as possible. Emails to the Queens Square Wealth Management Email Inbox are continuously monitored and actioned and all of our hardworking support staff are contactable as normal via their email addresses.
While the stories we're hearing about people around the globe rallying to help family, friends, and neighbours demonstrate such positivity, we know that money is an underlying concern for everybody. The last two weeks have shaken the global markets, and no one can be certain what lies ahead. Uncertainty is challenging to accept when it concerns your finances, and it can lead to making decisions in the heat of the moment, which can have disastrous long-term consequences.
The Advisers at Queens Square Wealth Management are continuing to contact our clients to provide virtual reassurance, whether that be via phone or online meetings using Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams of WhatsApp. We’d have loved to have been able to speak to everyone by now, but please can we encourage you; if you want to speak to any of us to call our office number; we want you to reach out to us when you feel you need to in these unsettling times.
It is important to remember the basic principles of long-term investing remain unchanged. Our mantra is ‘time in the market’ rather than ‘timing the market’, and past events have shown us that maintaining perspective is what is important. This is easy advice to follow in times of prosperity, but now is when this advice really matters. Staying the course with a diversified portfolio of investments, positioned for the long-term, is typically the best route to achieving your goals. We’re committed to looking after your best interests and we will continue to do so as the situation unfolds.
Of course, we’re not only here for financial advice; if you are self-isolating or separated from your family, friends and loved ones and just need to talk, please do not hesitate to contact me or a member of the team for a chat over a “virtual” coffee.
Please keep safe and we wish you and your families well.
